Dating Tip
From TV Show Farmer Wants a Wife
By Blaire Allison The Love Guru
So, we're going to
talk about this reality show I've been addicted to (I know, it's
embarrassing to admit).
"Farmer Wants a Wife"
Have you been watching it?
If you're not familiar with the show, it's about a farmer who wants a wife
(as the title says) ;-) and the show producers gathered something like 10
girls from the city - - to win a farmer's heart, take up farm life, get
married..and then move to the farm permanently.
Each week's the girls get a challenge that has to do with farm life....
(in other words, they do a farm "chore")
One week, they milk the cow
The next, it's gathering corn.
Then the next, it's catching chickens to put them in the coop
The next, they learn how to make a quilt
Then, they get to shave a sheep
Then the next, they bake apple pies.
You get the idea....
In other words, they're learning how to please their farmer husband..and
be good housewives. I say that with a bit of sarcasm, of course.
So what does this have to do with dating advice?
Well, everything. Here is your
dating tip for the week...that was inspired by the show.
See with every man that you date, when you are deciding if you want to get
closer and more serious with him, one of the KEY, KEY things you
need to WATCH for is HIS LIFESTYLE.
Do you like the life he lives?
Do you do similar things on the weekends?
Like the tv show above, is he a farmer and lives on a farm and everything
that comes along with that lifestyle - - and you're a city girl, doing
your city thing, with your cosmo in one hand and your Prada bag in the
other?
If this is the case, you may not be compatible.
The farmer is getting up at the crack of dawn
He works hard in the field all day
He goes to sleep early, to get ready to do it all over again....
Is this the life you see yourself leading?
Now, I know this is a situation you probably won't find yourself in... but
it's the same with the men you are meeting and dating.
Do you like their lifestyle?
Do you live the same way - or similar to how they live?
Do you do similar things on the weekends?
Do you keep the same or similar work hours?
Think about it - and use this tip every time you're deciding "is
he a good match for me?
Would love to hear your feedback on this one.
Love to you!
Wishing you the best in love,
