....Blaire Allison, CEO and founder of Metro Event Planners, an event production firm that caters to singles, couples and bachelorette parties, and a self-described "love expert," believes finding love in a supermarket may not be such a strange theory after all.  Interested in love and relationships since college, Allison, 28, has helped singles connect for eight years and is busy compiling her expertise and advice in a soon-to-be-published book.  She also coaches singles in relationships classes that address how to find "the one" but her lectures do not emphasize hitting the bars night after night.

"Society trains us to do stuff actively to meet people:  go to the gym, to the bars, surf the Internet; doing, doing, doing.  People are using their external energy," she says.  "There's another way to use your energy to meet someone.  Do internal exercises like preparing yourself for 'the one".

Allison's classes, such as the one titled "Cultivating Self Love," allow singles to begin molding the life they want, including the mate they desire.

"When you work on yourself and begin making goals, that's internal energy," she explains.  "Being prepared means you are in a state that's open to receiving love.  You naturally draw people to you when you're internally happy."

Before meeting her boyfriend of seven months, Allison felt the same frustration many singles do.  Tired of the bars and disgruntled with the Internet, she began concentration on the kind of man she hoped to attract, actively looking and seeking love, a contradiction to the age-old philosophy that love happens when it's not expected.

"You can meet someone anywhere, at any random meeting," she emphasizes.  "It's all about the attitude."

And "anywhere"  Allison claims definitely includes the supermarket, a growing singles hotspot that's become popular not only in New Jersey but up and down the East and West Coasts as well......
